The Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF), the National Governing Body of the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) and the Scholastic Action Shooting Program (SASP), is offering a scholarship program to reward deserving SCTP/SASP graduating seniors with needed college assistance. The main objective is to award as many scholarships as possible to qualifying SCTP / SASP graduating seniors.

This week’s auction item is a New Model Super Blackhawk® 44 Magnum revolver. Ruger’s records reflect this revolver was roll marked January 4, 2011. The revolver is a Sales Sample that was sold to a Ruger distributor and subsequently returned. There are no notes in the records stating why it was returned. This revolver features a wide serrated hammer spur with a blued finish. The 7-1/2 inch barrel has a rear sight click-adjustable for windage and elevation, and a Patridge-type front sight mounted on a ramp. The walnut grip panels have silver-colored Ruger Eagle logo medallions inlaid in them. Other features include an unfluted 6-round capacity 44 Magnum cylinder. “RUGER® .44 MAGNUM CAL. / NEW MODEL SUPER BLACKHAWK®” is stamped on the left side of the cylinder frame.

We have for auction a stainless Ruger® New Model Super Blackhawk® Bisley™ Hunter .44 Magnum caliber, single-action revolver. Ruger’s records reflect this revolver was roll marked August 10, 2012. The revolver is a Sales Sample, was never sold and has never been fired beyond normal factory test firing. This revolver features a satin-polished stainless finish; 7-1/2-inch cold hammer-forged barrel; front sight with a red lite pipe and adjustable rear sight. It has a Bisley-style grip that features brown and black laminate grip panels with silver and black-colored Ruger Eagle logo medallions; and a 6-shot unfluted cylinder. Integral mounts are machined directly on the solid-steel barrel rib which provide a stable mounting surface for the included scope rings. “RUGER® .44 MAGNUM CAL. / NEW MODEL SUPER BLACKHAWK®” is stamped on the left side of the cylinder frame. The revolver has been stored in a gray handgun case along with the original instruction manual, marketing materials, and locking device.

Up for auction this week is a 6.5 Creedmoor Ruger American® Rifle Predator with GO WILD® brush camo stock. Ruger’s records reflect this rifle was roll marked February 7, 2018. This model was first introduced in December 2017 and is a current production item. It was never sold and has never been fired beyond normal factory test firing. This rifle was one of Ruger’s Sales & Marketing photography samples. The rifle features a 22-inch threaded cold hammer-forged barrel with a factory-installed muzzle brake as well as a factory-installed one-piece Picatinny scope base. The patented Power Bedding® integral bedding block system positively locates the receiver and free-floats the barrel for outstanding accuracy. Other features include: the Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger; a one-piece three-lug bolt; and tang safety. It has a burnt bronze Cerakote™ finish with a lightweight synthetic stock featuring a GO WILD® camo design and studs for mounting sling swivels. The stock also features a soft black rubber buttpad.
