Ruger Super-Six Auction To Benefit SASP
SASP Founding Partner Sponsor, Ruger has resumed scheduled firearm auctions with all proceeds to benefit SASP. These auctions feature rare firearms from the Ruger vault and will help support youth shooting sports.
Up for auction this week is a stainless Speed-Six®, .38 Special caliber, double-action revolver. The serial number is 160-34020 and the rollmark date is August 18, 1983. The revolver has never been fired beyond normal testing during manufacture. The Speed-Six revolvers were first introduced in 1971 and were in production until 1988. The GP100® double-action revolver, which is still in production today, replaced the Police Service-Six, Security-Six®, and Speed-Six® revolvers. This particular revolver features a brushed stainless finish with a 2-3/4” barrel, fixed sights, six-shot cylinder, and round butt frame design. Other features include checkered walnut grip panels with silver-colored, Ruger® eagle “SR”® logo medallions. The revolver had been stored in a brown, hinged cardboard box with an appropriate instruction manual and locking device. The revolver is being sold “as is,” and the purchaser assumes all liability for its safe and proper ownership, storage, use, and resale. The revolver is a part of the Ruger factory collection in Southport, Connecticut, and a certificate of Authenticity will be mailed to the winner of the auction. NOTE: The winning bidder of this auction is responsible for paying the Federal Excise Tax of $13.87. The Federal Excise Tax is added to the final winning bid and any applicable State Sales Tax is applied to that subtotal.
