Auction for Ruger 25th Anniversary .44 Carbine

Ruger Firearms has generously donated a 25th Anniversary .44 Carbine rifle to benefit the Scholastic Action Shooting Program (SASP). The rifle is being auctioned on Gunbroker.com now through April 4, 12:30PM eastern time.

The serial number is 103-13221 and the rollmark date is September 29, 1982. In 1985 Ruger announced that, after 25 years of continuous production, it would stop manufacturing the famous Model 44 autoloading carbine. Ruger offered a Special Edition of 1,800, 25th Anniversary .44 Carbine rifles to celebrate the close of an era. The anniversary rifle was listed in the 1985 catalog and the suggested retail price was $495.00. The 25th Anniversary Model 44 Carbine shows the compact design and classic lines which contributed to the great success of this model. These Limited Edition rifles are specially rollmarked “1961 – 1985 ~ 25th ANNIVERSARY” on the barrel, and they have a specially designed nickel silver medallion set into the walnut stock. Features of this rifle include an American walnut stock with a barrel band at the front of the forend. a folding-leaf rear sight with a reversible U/square notch plate adjustable for elevation and a gold bead front sight. The frame is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. It also features a curved, metal butt plate and tubular magazine that holds four cartridges. The 25th Anniversary .44 Carbine will be shipped in a special Anniversary box along with an original manual, purchaser record card, and a “Firearms Safety Depends on You” booklet. Also included in this auction is a .44 Carbine 25th Anniversary medallion, along with a “blank” box end label and a 25th Anniversary decal. This rifle is being sold “as is.” The purchaser assumes all liability for its safe and proper ownership, storage, use, and resale. The rifle is a part of the Ruger factory collection in Southport, Connecticut, and a Certificate of Authenticity will be mailed to the winner of the. Note: the winner of this auction will be responsible for paying the Federal Excise Tax.

Ruger® Donates a Rare KP90™ to Benefit the Scholastic Action Shooting Program

Ruger® Firearms has generously donated a rare and collectible KP90™ Manual Safety Model Pistol to benefit the Scholastic Action Shooting Program.

The pistol being auctioned on GunBroker.com is a Ruger® produced stainless manual safety model, .45 ACP, P90™ pistol from 1992 through 2004. The serial number of this KP90™ is 661-22222 and the test fire date is August 23, 1995. This pistol has never been fired beyond normal testing during manufacture.

The auction ends on January 17, 2018 and 100% of the auction proceeds will be donated to the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation’s Scholastic Action Shooting Program.

The stainless manual safety model P90™ is made of hard-coated A356T6 aircraft quality aluminum alloy, 400-series stainless steel, Terhune Anticorro stainless steel, and 6123 Xenoy resin grip panels. It features manual ambidextrous safety levers and a 4-1/2 inch barrel. Other features include an oversized trigger guard and full-time ambidextrous magazine latch. It also features high-visibility white-dot inserts on both the front sight and the windage-adjustable, rear sight.

The KP90™ Pistol will be shipped in its gray plastic pistol case along with a 7-shot magazine, magazine loader, and original instruction manual. A 1995 Ruger® Firearms Catalog is included with this auction. The pistol is being sold “as is,” and the purchaser assumes all liability for its safe and proper ownership, storage, use, and resale.
