The SASP’s Founding Partner Sponsor, Ruger has been dedicated in their support of our program for over five years and has graciously included the SASP as a beneficiary of Ruger Auctions. Each week from September through December will feature a new Ruger Auction, with all proceeds being donated in benefit of the SASP!
We are auctioning off an M77® Mark II International in 6.5x55mm. Ruger’s records reflect this rifle was roll marked September 2, 2008. This model was a very limited edition Lipsey’s distributor exclusive. The rifle was never sold and has never been fired beyond normal factory test firing. The M77® Mark II International rifle has a stainless finish and features an 18.5-inch stainless steel barrel with integral scope mounts (machined directly on the solid-steel receiver). Other features include a beautiful, full-length American walnut stock with a black rubber buttpad with the Ruger eagle logo. The pistol grip and forearm feature wrap-around cut checkering. Other features include sling swivels; adjustable folding leaf rear sight and a ramp front sight base with a dovetail-type gold bead front sight. The box magazine holds four cartridges.
