SASP RARE RUGER AUCTION:Single-Six® Bisley™ .22LR

The SASP’s Founding Partner Sponsor, Ruger has been dedicated in their support of our program for over six years and has graciously included the SASP as a beneficiary of Ruger Auctions. Each week from September through December will feature a new Ruger Auction, with all proceeds being donated in benefit of the SASP!

We have for auction a .22 Long Rifle caliber New Model Single-Six® Bisley™ revolver. Ruger’s records reflect this revolver was test fired November 1, 1993. The Ruger Bisley Single-Action revolvers were introduced as “NEW” in the 1986 Ruger Firearms Catalog. ?This revolver does not appear to be a regular production model, and it has never been sold or fired beyond normal testing during manufacture.

Please NOTE: This revolver was a trade show display item hence the bolt in the bottom of the grip frame.

Some features of this revolver include a blued finish; 6-1/2-inch barrel; a low hammer profile smoothly curved with a wide spur and deep checkering; and a longer, full-shape grip frame featuring American walnut grips with silver-colored Ruger “SR” Eagle logo medallions. Other features include a 6-round capacity .22 Long Rifle, non-fluted cylinder with a roll-engraved scene. ?The engraved scene on the cylinder of this revolver is a modified version of the traditional engraving found on the models produced at that time. It has a blade front sight, and dovetail rear sight adjustable for windage only.

This auction raised over $1,200 for youth shooting sports!
